RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has once again stirred controversy with a new helicopter video, this time showing him enjoying oranges with a close aide. The video, posted last night, depicts Tejashwi Yadav and former minister Mukesh Sahni savouring oranges while in the helicopter during a hectic election campaign.

In the video, Tejashwi Yadav is heard saying, "Hello friends, there was an orange party in the helicopter today. They won't be irritated by the color orange, right?" This statement comes after the orange colour, associated with the BJP, became a point of contention in political discourse.

Accompanied by Mukesh Sahni, Tejashwi defends their choice of snack in the video, stating, "We are having oranges today. The BJP will have issues with this too. They will find a religion angle in this too. Shouldn't we eat or drink at all? They say it's our bhagwa colour, bhai, it's not just yours, but ours too. If it's an edible item, we will eat it."

The duo had faced criticism earlier for a similar video that showed them enjoying a fish meal in the helicopter. Many internet users accused them of insensitivity during Navratri, a period when devotees adhere to a strict vegetarian diet. Tejashwi Yadav mentions in the new video that the oranges were given to them by the public.
